Educational and Professionalism of IPhA has come out with a brand new idea of helping pharmacy students in learning. This idea was originally started by Rx11 brothers in their batch. Looking at the outcome to be quite encouraging, hence the bureau has implementing and commercialize this idea to be applied in the Kulliyyah.

“What is this PADU all about..?”

Ape la aku nak ajar malam ni..? Haish..

Ape la aku nak ajar malam ni..? Haish..

Basically,

1. PADU is a sort of small class among the batch members and of course, the sisters and brothers are conducting the classes at their respective mahallah (Obviously la kan..). The time of classes are depending on the availability of the members of the batch. If majority of them are not available, so class will be postponed. But possibly, please space out some time for this PADU class. At least, twice a week. (you’ll benefit it, REALLY!!)

2. The batch leaders are to conduct the selection of presenters. Preferably 2-3 persons to present in each class depending on the topics selected. Let’s say the members decided to present about Mass Spec, so select (buat la macam mana sekali pun. Undi ke, based on kepandaian ke, etc) 2-3 persons and they should divide the subtopics themselves. Everyone in the batch should at least present once.

"Man, ko yakin ke apa yang ko ajar ni masuk exam..? tanya Amir "Payah gak nak jawab soalan ko ni.." balas Lukman

"Dia gini Mir, Ko kene rileks je. Tengok macam aku ni, rileks je.. Takyah nak sombie sgt.." nasihat Mokhsen "Betui2!!" support Afif sambil enteprem gambar

3. When a topic is selected, NOT every corner and every words in the notes should be explained. The presenter should get to the main points of the topics, present the main ideas and possibly explain anything about the topics that is tricky and needs to be discussed. For instance, the concept of NMR is quite confusing and rather difficult when it comes to applications. Then, they should pay more attention of that la.

4. This class is more or less a mass discussion where we can discuss openly in the group. Nothing to be shame of if you do not get the main idea at all. But. FAIR WARNING!! Do make a reading first before joining the class. At least, you have a little idea on the topics and you know what to ask during the class. Let’ say the class is on the concept of NMR. By then, you should at least know what is NMR. Do not barge into the class unprepared, or else you’ll drag the class.

"You all. This is the latest pose yang I nak bawa untuk show I kat IIUM Got Talent nanti ye. Do support me!!"

"Dah2 la tu Zul. Pose ko tu takleh nak beat pose aku berkain pelikat ni. Ada bran ke..?" balas Adli dengan nada jeles

5. The class could extend to 2-3 hours depending on the level of difficulty and discussion on the topics. If you still do not understand at all, then discuss personally with the presenters.

6. After the class ceased, the batch leader should lead the selection again. Preferably, the selection is made for the next 2-3 classes, so that the presenters can prepare. =)

So, how?? Get your eyes squinted already..? Too lengthy, isn’t it? Yes, I know. But it’s for our own good since many of us are still confused what this class is all about. So, from this, I hope all of us can benefit from the class. Best of luck to all!!
