Pharmaniaga visit

Assalamualaikum…

Last Friday, there was a visit by Pharmaniaga which aimed to deliver the Book prize Award to the top 3 students of IIUM Kulliyyah of Pharmacy. Although it was not a crispy day, the event was a smooth sailing. Started at 2.30 with a memorable speech by our respected Dean, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Tariq Abdul Razak and followed by the speech delivered by the honorable Mr. Errman Zuhady Zainal the General Manager of Organisational Development Division for Pharmaniaga Bernad. Then the event proceeded to a carrer talk session which was conducted by Bro. Hayat Al.Mazli, the Deputy Senior Manager of OD and Recruitment. The career talk was simple, short and sweet. The event was ended with the Book Prize Award giving ceremony to the top students in Rx5th. The receivers are:

Eventually, all the students who attended the event were given goodies bags containing supplementary pills and a pen. Refreshment was also provided. FIN!

Multimedia Workshop 2011

The program was held yesterday, which was attended by approximately 60 participants ( local students + lecturers + some international students hee ). Run by 3 organizers, to be exact Publication and Information Bureau,IIUM Pharmacy Students’ Society (IPhA) together with Mahallah Talhah Representative Committee  and Volunteer Team with the aim of cultivating photography and video making as a second interest as well as teaching basic multimedia skills.

RM 5 was charged per person and the price was quite reasonable for knowledge, meals and of course a certificate will be given too !  The talks were given by well-known speakers namely Dr Ali Shamsul Bahar from 2121 studios ( photography ), Bro Zamir from IT Unit and En Azahari from Indahku Production ( Videography ). I think the program was considered a success because these three fields had been compressed to make it one-day event. Alhamdulillah. Zillions thanks to all the committee ( IPhA + MRC + VT ) facilitators; Amir & Yusri and certainly the Program Manager itself, Pokjat (IPhA) for all your hard work. ^_^
